Navigating Together.
I understand it can still be very confusing and a little scary as we enter into the endemic stage of the pandemic we’ve been navigating for over 2 years. The info below is meant to make that easier for you. Below you’ll find a concrete list outlining salon policies and what you'll need to know when you come in for your appointment. These policies are required whether I'm at my home salon location in Palm Springs, or a guest salon I'm visiting. Additionally, you can find all the services I offer under “Behind The Chair”. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:
• QUARANTINE REQUIRED IF EXPOSED OR DIAGNOSED WITH COVID. Please do not enter the premises if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 such as cough, shortness of breath, or fever, have a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, or have come in contact in the last week with a person who has been confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19. You are required to reschedule your appointment if you test positive for COVID-19 at least 5 days after you are not experiencing symptoms.
• I VOLUNTARILY TEST REGULARLY. Because of the nature of my job and the frequency in which I travel because of it, I do test weekly as a precaution for all of my guests. In the event I am sick or test positive for COVID-19, I will promptly contact everyone on my books and reschedule according to the CDC recommendations. I will be masked for all on site services and house calls.
• MASKS NO LONGER REQUIRED. Masks are no longer required in the space, however I will always have them on hand and am happy to wear one if you feel more safe and comfortable. Please let me know when you arrive at your appointment what you are comfortable doing and I am more than happy to oblige.
• YOU CAN NOW COME RIGHT IN. You no longer have to wait in your car or outside for your appointment. Feel free to come on in, and I will have a clean and disinfected work station ready for you! If you’d like, I have a hand sanitizer at the door for you to use when you come in as well.
• EXTRA GUESTS ARE NOW WELCOMED. Extra guests are now allowed and welcomed into the space, however I do ask that there be no more than 2 guests in the space at one time. My space is small and intimate, therefore can get crowded easily. I ask that no children allowed unless they are getting services done themselves or there is another adult to take care of them. If you have any questions about exceptions for your appointment, please feel free to contact me.
• SERVICE PUP ON SITE. More often than not my service dog, Teddy, will be in the salon space to provide emotional support for myself and others who may need. Teddy is a small Pomeranian and always gets the Employee of the Month Award, although I think it’s rigged.
ADDITIONAL STEPS I TAKE FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY:
• Strict hygiene and cleaning and disinfectant procedures, as well as a salon wide cleaning and sanitation checklist to be performed multiple times throughout the day. I clean with hospital grade disinfectant and service station is cleaned and sanitized thoroughly in between each guest to ensure no cross contamination. No combs, tools, smocks, capes, brushes, or towels are reused without laundering, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Hand sanitizing dispensers and hand washing station is available for use whenever the client needs.
